Shift: Monday - Friday 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM
Exempt / Non-Exempt: Exempt

Purpose:

The project manager will be responsible for managing business development projects for new technologies from initiation to product launch. This will include the development and delivery of the project schedule, product management, product development, and sales and marketing aspects of the project to ensure timely completion.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop project deliverables required for the launch of new technologies in collaboration with key stakeholders, Product Development, Quality Assurance, and Operations departments.
  • Lead project management activities on assigned projects including schedule, budget, work products and deliverables.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication channels between the project team and key stakeholders to ensure completion of tasks and awareness of the project status.
  • Develop or assist in the development of sales and marketing literature.
  • Track and update project activities on a weekly basis. Identify the project critical path, dependencies, and obstacles.
  • Work with the project stakeholders, the Product Development, Quality, and Operations departments to resolve scheduling conflicts or project challenges.
  • Verify and review all technology transfer documentation is provided and complete.
  • Specify, order, evaluate, and onboard new proprietary equipment in support of the assigned project.
  • Develop working knowledge of product development processes, ISO standards, FDA and AATB regulatory requirements.
  • Execute and plan new company initiatives including equipment onboarding, supply chain management, distribution capability, and product support.
  • Review, analyze, and characterize critical financial characteristics of products including COGS.
  • Develop production forecasts post project launch.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering, business or related field required.
  • 2-3 years of experience in project management required.
